Laura embodies the values and commitment to clients that define Jacoby & Meyers. Laura’s practice focuses on serving clients who have suffered a wide range of personal injuries, including auto accidents, slip and falls, animal attacks. Her clients’ injuries range from soft tissue and whiplash cases to serious injury and wrongful death matters.
Laura knows that our clients are real people who have suffered real injury and loss and she works hard to hold large corporations and insurance companies accountable for their wrongdoing. Laura is committed to seeing that justice prevails.
Laura received a BA in Geography & Environmental Studies from UCLA and a JD from the University of Southern California Law Center, where she was Chief Production Editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Women’s Studies. She is admitted to practice in California and before the following Courts: The United States District Courts for the Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of California; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; the Third Circuit Court of Appeals; and the United States Tax Court. She has also been admitted pro hac vice in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Jacoby & Meyers, Laura was a senior associate at boutique Los Angeles based law firm, where she handled complex business and tax litigation and transactions. Laura is a graduate of the Trojan Horse Trial Workshop, and the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute.
Outside of the practice of law, you will find Laura engaged in helping others through a variety of community activities. She volunteers at her children’s schools, is a member of Alpha Phi Fraternity’s NPC Delegation, is a UCLA Student Mentor and is involved in Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) as well as the UCLA Alumni Association.
